In 2008, Lems’ creator, Andrew Rademacher, reached his end point searching for shoes that fit the natural shape of the foot. Originating in northern Israel in the late nineteen-eighties, Naot manufactures a large variety of footwear with a unique anatomical footpad. The footpad is a “negative” print of the foot, just like the footprint we leave when walking in the sand. Naot footwear is flexible, soft, shock absorbent, as it supports the heel and alleviates tiredness and pain. Footbeds are made of natural cork and latex and covered in a pampering layer of suede.
